2nd TOWN-WIDE TAG SALE

SATURDAY, MAY 11, 2013

Due to the resounding success of last year’s event, we are again having a town-wide tag sale.  The way this works, you pay a registration fee to have your address listed on the back of our map and a star on our map for your tag sale to be held on Saturday, May 11^th, 2013 from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M.  All tag sale proceeds are yours to keep.  These maps will be available to the public from 8 A.M. that morning until 1 P.M at a few places around town.   We will take care of the advertising and promotion.  No early birds will contact you based on our promotion.

COST:   $15 for a Family                      $25 for Multi-Family

The Wilbraham 250th Anniversary Committee is seeking a male Wilbraham resident to represent the town during the 250th celebration. The applicants must be between the ages of 16 – 19 and be available to participate fully during the town parade on June 23rd and the town BBQ on August 18th and are welcome to participate in other events as available. Selected candidates will be interviewed by the 250th committee during the week of May 13th. For an application and instructions, please click King Application.

Wilbraham’s Town Wide Tag Sale was a resounding success.  We had 83 different addresses participating in this event, a testament to the commitment of the town residents to support Wilbraham’s 250th Anniversary Committee in our efforts to provide free or low cost events to celebrate this momentous occasion.   We also sold over 250 maps, making our efforts at publicizing this event worth the work. 

Due to the success and the support of the residents, we are looking into holding this event next year around the same time.
